The ASSO Ultra Cast fluorocarbon coated longline is a superb range of the most advanced and est quality fishing lines available today, using today´s most advanced technology. Another advantage of the coating is that it greatly reduces friction, thus protecting the rings and significantly increasing casting distance. Asso Ultra Cast Fluorocarbon lines have a low stretch and therefore a sensitivity factor, which means they transmit the catches well. The ASSO Ultra Cast Fluorocarbon coating is durable and lasts for years to the technology used in its manufacture. The coating makes the surface of the line extremely smooth and waterproof, which means that these lines retain almost all of their strength and do not lose tensile strength over years of fishing, unlike conventional lines which absorb water and can lose up to 15l of strength. Softness and low stretch are usually incompatible and cannot be found in the same line. If the line is soft, it usually has a elongation, while if it has a low elongation it is stiff and hard. A stiff, hard cord is difficult to handle, tangle, run or break and break more easily. The fluorocarbon coating combines the two vitally important features of softness and low stretch, resulting in an excellent and strong long distance casting line.
