Peltor SportTac are active hearing protectors that provide intelligent noise protection, the ability to connect external audio devices and the function of adjusting the attenuation level.Active protectionActive protectors have built-in microphones, to which we can hear the sounds of the surroundings. After exceeding the safe level of 85dB, the electronic system turns off the microphones and suppresses the noise at the same time. The ear muffs precisely protect against harmful impulse noise , while ensuring very clear and clear hearing of surrounding sounds.The Peltor SportTac is equipped with a smooth-running sound reproduction system that prevents sudden drops in the level of the sound heard. The protectors are powered by two AA batteries (mounted in one dish), which provide up to 600 hours of operation. Automatic battery saving mode turns off the protectors after two hours when there is no activity. The electronic system remembers the last volume settings and informs you about a low battery level .Activation and volume adjustment are made using 3 large buttons. Peltor SportTac earmuffs have the J22 audio input for connecting an external audio device, e.g. a smartphone or mp3.BuildingThe lower part of the canopy is profiled so that the protectors do not interfere with shooting. Wide, replaceable cushions isolate from noise very well, are pleasant to the skin, and can be easily kept clean.
