Asso surf line with fluorocarbon coating. A good reel, a good rod and a good caster are important for a successful and accurate long distance cast , but one of the most important parts of the equipment is the line. The line must be able to absorb and withstand the sudden and instantaneous force of the pull and tug of the cast, without compromising distance and accuracy. The other important element is that it must also provide the same or better performance than normal lines when catching fish after a long distance cast. This is why Asso´s generation of distance casting line, Asso surf Fc , is a special line that has been successfully tested by the IGFA. The line is fluorocarbon coated and specifically designed for distance casting to achieve longer casting distance, abrasion resistance, excellent visibility on the beach, maximum performance in all weather and temperature conditions.
