DAM TECTAN SUPERIOR FLUOROCARBON 25M. Unlike other monofilament cords, it is made of Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF). PVDF is a ly non-reactive and pure thermoplastic fluoropolymer. Due to its er density, PVDF sinks faster and the refractive index is much closer to water than nylon and has almost invisible properties in water. In addition, PVDF cords do not absorb water at all, in contrast to nylon cords, which absorb water after a longer time in water, thereby changing their own properties. In fishing waters where a clear, almost invisible line, or both, need to sink faster at the same time, it is especially recommended to use PVDF lines in these waters in the hope of a safer catch.
