The set from Diycon consists of the dualuse night vision device DNVC2 Firefly and the IR LED brightener Predator 2. As a clipon dualuse device, the DNVC2 is designed to withstand the est impact loads and is waterproof. All controls have been ergonomically arranged for comfortable operation even at night. The 5button keypad is assigned with shortcuts and controls the onboard menu like a joystick.With its resolution CMOS sensor, the DNVC2 Firefly has the ability to see brilliantly during the day and at night with up to 6 x zoom and a pictureinpicture function (3x / 4.5x). Compared to conventional night vision devices, the DNVC2 is insensitive to daylight. For a long time, night vision devices were equipped with image intensifiers. These only amplify the existing residual light. Due to their design, they were very susceptible to shock and errors often occurred in the voltage electronics.The user can choose between color and black and white images. The eyepiece uses a microOLED screen with XGA resolution (1024x786 pixels). The IP68 waterproof titanium aluminum housing is manufactured to military quality standards and is exceptionally rugged.
