Complete dry dog food for adult working and hunting dogs (1 year of age and over).With chicken meatHill´s Science Plan Adult Performance Dry Dog Food is a perfectly balanced diet for working and hunting dogs with higher energy needs and clinically proven antioxidant activity.Suggestions for use:- For adult dogs that require a higher energy density diet (i.e. working, hunting and sledding dogs, problem eaters and stressed or nervous dogs).Not recommended for:- Cats. Puppies.- Pregnant and lactating bitches. During pregnancy and lactation, it is recommended that the bitch be fed a Science Plan Puppy Healthy Development formula (except Science Plan Puppy Healthy Development Large Breed).- Inactive dogs or dogs otherwise prone to obesity.- Dogs with hyperlipidemia.Additional information:- During periods of increased activity, feed one quarter to one third of the daily dose 2-4 hours before activity. Then in the evening (at least one hour after the end of the activity) feed the dog according to its appetite (i.e. ad libitum) for about 30 minutes.- During periods when the dog is not working, switch back to Science Plan Canine Adult Advanced Fitness.- Always have enough fresh water available for your Dog, even during working periods.- Science Plan Canine Adult Performance is very different from the food that dogs normally eat and if not introduced slowly can cause gastrointestinal upset. Science Plan Canine Adult Performance should be gradually increased from 25% to 100% of the pet´s daily ration over 7 days.
